Medal of Honor is a game that any first person shooter fan has heard of and probably played, but now this traditionally World War II based series has made the ever-popular shift to the modern day setting. The new title is boasting impressive graphics and very Modern Warfare like game mechanics. Medal of Honor is set to come out some time later this year in the third quarter, and will be put up against the Call of Duty’s and Bad Company 2. But the big news about this game right now is the news that the PS3 will be the lead platform. At the 2010 Game Developers Conference the producers said that the PS3 is better suited for multiplatform production and it will not only benefit the PS3’s performance but the Xbox 360 also. Its always nice to see third party companies, like EA, developing on the PS3 and taking advantage of the power the PS3 has to offer. Source : http://www.ps3vault.com
Rumor: Lighter PS3 units on the way, Bright Yellow PSP-3000 to be discontinued
Posted by NuViProductionsIt's been barely half a year since Sony released the lightweight PS3 Slim, but according to a japanese an even lighter version of the console is on the way. This new model will reportedly weigh 3kg -- 200 grams lighter than the Slim SKU. The weight change isn't as drastic as that seen in the PS3 Slim, which was 33% lighter than previous models. The new SKUs will sport the serial number CECH-2100A. In case you were wondering, the CECH-2000B spotted a while back turned out to be the 250GB FFXIII PS3. The retailer expects a March release for these new SKUs.
In PSP news, the same retailer reports that Sony will soon be ending shipments for the Bright Yellow PSP-3000 color variant. Apparently these were the lowest-selling variants at the retailer's shop.
